Musée d’Orsay
Île-de-France, Paris

For one night only, the clock room of the Musée d’Orsay, once a bustling train station in the heart of Paris, was transformed into a bedroom in collaboration with Airbnb for the Opening Ceremony of the Olympic Games Paris 2024. Guests lucky enough to stay in this unique space that is both romantic and contemporary, surrounded by works of the greatest Impressionist painters, also had the chance to watch the parade on the River Seine. The bedroom and its terrace were designed by none other than Mathieu Lehanneur, who also created the Olympic torch for Paris 2024. The torch was displayed in the room as part of this unique collaboration.
